Our story

“The Godfather of Gluten Free” in Australia

Back in 1984, when Rick's wife was diagnosed coeliac, there was simply nothing good to eat. So Rick set out to make gluten free food that tasted as good — if not better — than the real thing. By 1999 he'd opened three Uncle Rick Coeliac Heaven bakeries and went on to write five best-selling coeliac cookbooks sold worldwide. Customers call him “The Godfather of Gluten Free” — and forty years on, the mixes still taste like Nanna's.
